Hotel Juliani

After A LOT of research we decided Hotel Juliani at St Julien’s Bay was the place for us.

We had been looking at a few of the big western brands along the waterfront but were torn between having a big resort pool – and having to put up with the gangs of brats that would undoubtedly come with them.

In the end we choose Juliani. The pool wasn’t as big or fancy but it had fantastic views, free parking, breakfast and wifi, and it was in a great location – right on the water.

The convenience didn’t come cheaply though – the hotel cost us about $1500 for the five nights (about $300 a night) – and while we didn’t spend all that much time in the hotel – it was nice to know we had somewhere clean, comfortable and safe to return to each evening.

Our honeymooning neighbours were evidently taken by the luxury of the hotel – we caught them in the throes of passion on the balcony below us.
