Love Valley is probably the most well-known of the walks sprawling out from Goreme, probably due to its phallic-shaped pillars.
The hike will you less than 3 hours (or two if you’re short on time like we were).
The easiest way to complete the walk is to make your way to Nevsehir – either by bus or cab, and hop out at the Jewelry Shop just before the town.
You’ll get a great view of the castle up on the hill before making your way through the centre’s carpart and on to the beginning of the walk.
The hike slopes down pretty steeply, pretty quickly, and so I’d have dreaded coming the other way, from Goreme.
